As we continue our national expansion, the Business Development Representative plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and market expansion across Trulieve’s third-party brand partners.

This position blends brand representation with field-level sales execution, supporting existing wholesale accounts while actively prospecting and developing new dispensary partnerships. RESPONSIBILITIES

The Brand Ambassador (Sales & Account Development Focus) will be an integral part of the Trulieve Wholesale department, reporting to the Senior Sales Manager. This role will focus on driving revenue growth and market expansion across Trulieve’s third-party brand partners with field-level sales support and marketing initiatives.

  • Act as a field representative supporting third-party brand partners within assigned wholesale accounts
  • Partner with Sales to drive sell-through, improve in-store performance, and support revenue goals
  • Actively identify, target, and prospect new dispensary and wholesale accounts within the territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dispensary staff, buyers, and key decision makers
  • Conduct budtender trainings and product education to increase product knowledge, advocacy, and conversion
  • Generate brand awareness by executing in-market support and events
  • Monitor product placement, merchandizing, and inventory levels; identify opportunities to improve performance
  • Gather competitive insights and provide real-time feedback to Sales and Marketing teams
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of experience in field marketing, sales, brand ambassadorship, or account management (CPG or cannabis preferred)
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability or strong interest in prospecting, lead generation, and supporting sales growth.
  • Flexibility of hours – some nights and weekends required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable mode of transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background check.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have visual and auditory acuity with or without aids to perform all functions of the position.
  • Accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others, observe/inspect details at varying ranges; operate computing devices.
  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Occasionally required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools, office machinery): push/pull objects up to 25lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
Work Schedule

45+ hours weekly with flexible hours and travel up to 10% of work schedule to support the needs of the business.
