Position: Federal Civilian Account Executive — Strategic Growth

Mule Soft Account Executive, Federal Civilian:
DoED, FSA, Capital Hill and SSA

Our Account Executives drive new business and engage with existing customers to sell Mule Soft. They build positive, trusted relationships with key team members and c‑suite decision makers. They help customers realize value from their Salesforce investments.

Day to Day
  • Persistent focus on pipeline generation strategies and execution to seed, land and expand new and existing accounts
  • Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive satisfaction at assigned accounts
  • Develop and drive the overall long‑term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives
  • Coordinate internal Salesforce resources to meet customer business needs
  • Perform account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with Prime and Cloud sales resources to ensure strategic alignment
  • Share Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers
  • Drive growth within an existing assigned account
  • Demonstrated focus on outcome over process
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of software full cycle sales experience including 5+ years of Enterprise sale experience
  • Skilled in hunting/development of new opportunities
  • Experience working with/understanding Federal Civilian Agencies
  • Demonstrates success and enthusiasm in hunting for new business
  • Experience working with a large extended team
  • Experience working in high‑growth, performance focused environments
  • Experience evaluated based on core competencies (extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
