We are looking for a dedicated and driven Sales Director to join our collaborative team and help take our venue sales to the next level.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, goal-oriented Sales Director who thrives in a "player-coach" role. In this position, you will not only lead, manage, and inspire our dedicated sales team, but you will also actively sell and manage your own pipeline of clients. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding specific sales targets, extensive experience with monthly and quarterly reporting, and the strategic vision to implement new tactics to boost venue sales.

Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Strategy
  • Learn:
    Be open to learning our current sales strategies and processes from our current sales director.
  • Manage and Mentor:
    Lead, train, and motivate the venue sales team to consistently meet and exceed individual and team revenue targets.
  • Strategic Growth:
    Develop and implement innovative sales tactics and outreach strategies to increase booking rates and maximize venue revenue.
  • Performance Tracking:
    Follow specific, measurable sales goals. Prepare and present detailed monthly and quarterly sales reports to ownership/management.
  • Process Optimization:
    Ensure the team is effectively utilizing our CRM and lead-generation tools to streamline the booking process.
Direct Sales & Client Management
  • Active Selling:
    Actively work your own leads, conduct venue tours, negotiate contracts, and close sales alongside your team.
  • Lead Engagement:
    Utilize our text messaging software and communication platforms to promptly respond to and nurture new inquiries.
  • System Management:
    Expertly navigate and maintain accurate client records, contracts, and event details using Triple Seat.
  • Relationship Building:
    Foster lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and community partners to generate referral business.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience:

    3+ years of progressive sales experience, with a proven background in managing and developing a successful sales team (experience in venue, hospitality, or event sales is highly preferred).
  • Highly Organized:
    Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to juggle team oversight, administrative reporting, and personal sales pipelines without missing a beat.
  • Data-Driven:
    Deep experience working with specific sales quotas, KPIs, and generating accurate monthly/quarterly performance reports.
  • Tech-Savvy:
    Proficiency in CRM software is required. Prior experience with Triple Seat is preferred but not required. Comfortable adapting to and training staff on text messaging and lead-capture software.
  • Team Player: A collaborative attitude with a willingness to jump in and support the team wherever needed.
  • Communication:
    Stellar written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
