2. The Opportunity
American Bath Group is seeking a US Sales Director to lead and grow a strategically important multi-state territory within the AcrylX business.
This role exists to strengthen market coverage, improve field execution, deepen customer relationships, and accelerate growth across a territory that is being actively realigned for greater efficiency and performance.
The organization is looking for a commercially driven field leader who enjoys building momentum, creating strong partnerships, and leading from the front. The successful candidate will inherit an established business foundation while also helping drive the next phase of growth through greater customer engagement, stronger rep alignment, and increased market visibility.
This is a highly visible leadership opportunity with meaningful influence across customers, rep agencies, internal sales teams, and cross‑functional business partners.
3. Success in Year OneIn the first 12 months, the successful candidate will:
- Meet or exceed territory sales and unit growth objectives
- Strengthen relationships with key distributors, contractors, builders, and agencies
- Improve performance in underdeveloped or underperforming market segments
- Increase field visibility and customer engagement across the territory
- Build strong alignment and accountability across rep agencies and field teams
- Establish consistent business review and forecasting discipline
- Become a trusted commercial leader internally and externally
- Bring positive energy, urgency, and execution focus to the organization
This role is fundamentally about building.
The Sales Director will lead a multi-state territory with responsibility for growing market share, strengthening customer partnerships, improving execution consistency, and increasing sales performance across the region.
The territory structure is evolving, creating an opportunity for the right leader to help shape a more effective market approach while increasing customer proximity and improving responsiveness.

5. Year One Critical Outcomes Commercial Growth- Deliver territory sales growth against annual plan
- Increase unit performance across key accounts and channels
- Win targeted growth opportunities within the region
- Establish strong executive and operational relationships across major accounts
- Increase in-person engagement with distributors, contractors, and builders
- Improve customer confidence and responsiveness
- Create stronger alignment across field reps and rep agencies
- Improve execution discipline and operating cadence
- Drive accountability through consistent follow-up and business reviews
- Utilize Salesforce and reporting tools to manage forecasting and territory planning
- Conduct regular quarterly business reviews and agency performance reviews
- Improve territory visibility and market intelligence gathering
- Build strong partnerships across internal departments
- Contribute positively to team culture and collaboration
- Help elevate overall commercial energy and accountability within the region
This role requires balancing growth leadership with operational execution across a large, geographically dispersed territory.
The successful candidate must be comfortable:
- Traveling extensively
- Influencing without direct authority across agencies and customer groups
- Driving accountability while maintaining strong relationships
- Operating independently while remaining highly collaborative internally
The territory includes both established business and meaningful growth opportunity, requiring someone who can both maintain momentum and create new commercial traction.

8. Experience RequirementsPreferred qualifications include:
- Regional or multi-state sales leadership experience
- Experience with in building products, plumbing, bath, HVAC, construction, or adjacent channels
- Experience working with distributors, contractors, builders, or rep agencies
