Job Summary
Sell Comcast Internet, Data, Video and Voice services to small and mid‑size businesses focusing mainly on advanced communications solutions including PRI, Hosted PBX and multi‑location opportunities. As part of the sales process, create and deliver face‑to‑face sales presentations that demonstrate knowledge of the latest Comcast products and services. Promote bundled products to ensure the optimal solution for the customer. Sell with the goal of exceeding departmental financial and unit targets.
Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Comcast Business Services in the marketplace.
- Territory development including local business partnerships, organizational affiliations, and local enhancement of Comcast positioning and brand.
- Maintain quality sales records and prepare sales and activity reports as required.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and support a positive impression of the Comcast Experience.
- Generate new leads through prospecting activities such as cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships.
- Identify improvement areas through a consultative process to enhance prospects’ communication effectiveness.
- Effectively manage a territory with a high activity level and a comprehensive business plan.
- Collaborate with technical, customer service, and support staff to ensure end‑to‑end customer sales and satisfaction.
- Consistently maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects to achieve monthly quota performance and above.
- Remain knowledgeable of Comcast products and services to facilitate sales efforts.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales and business quality objectives and adhere to company standards.
- Be punctual, regular, and consistent in attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (but experience may be considered).
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in business sales.
- Strong adaptability, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, customer‑focused, persuasion, professional integrity, resilience, technical knowledge, and workplace organization.
- Ability to work in a high‑activity sales environment and meet quotas.
- Base Pay: $59,888.00
- Total Target Compensation (Base Pay plus Targeted Commission): $
