Here, you’ll work with cybersecurity experts on the forefront of threat protection and proactive prevention. In this fast‑paced, real‑world environment, you’ll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep the threats at bay.
Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices‑based architecture and cutting‑edge technologies. The System Automation Software Engineer will be responsible for:
- Establishing a test framework and automated tests utilizing Cucumber and Cypress
- Knowledgeable in Microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, test frameworks and automation, Agile methodology
- Execute load, performance, chaos, functional and end‑to‑end testing
- Agile development and delivery of software
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- 9 years or more of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related master’s degree
- An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph
- Cucumber/Gherkin, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tool), Selenium tools:
Cypress, 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA) - S/W:

Pay RangeThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,200 – $225,975. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
Work ScheduleOnsite full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. 9x80 every other Friday off. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility; schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week to condensed schedules, which allow additional time away from the office on top of paid time off benefits.

Ability to work remotely is not an option; requirement: onsite full‑time. Relocation is possible.
