Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The System Automation Software Engineer will be responsible for:

• Establishing a test framework and automated tests utilizing Playwright, Cucumber and Cypress
• Being knowledgeable in Microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, Test frameworks and automation, Agile Methodology.
• Executing load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end-to-end testing
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Professional communication and collaboration. Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 2 years or more of professional experience; or no years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
• An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph with a CI poly within the last 7 years.

• Playwright, Cucumber/Gherkin, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tool), Selenium, Tools:
  Cypress, 508 testing (JAWS or NVDA)
• S/W: java, java script, python, ansible
• Other: AWS, Kubernetes, docker, CI/CD

TS/SCI w/Poly SP

Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

9x80 every other Friday off

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $86,100 - $151,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
