- Lead a team of Special Operations Forces (SOF) and combat arms veterans, UxS Pilots to provide Counter UxS training (CUxS), system validation testing, and vulnerability and threat assessments to DoD, IC, and coalition forces across CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Provide subject matter expertise integrating the latest CUxS threat training, emerging enemy TTPs, and friendly force capability gaps to improve warfighters’ operability and combat sustainability.
- Manage and guide less‑experienced staff, including CACI personnel and subcontractors, ensuring operational continuity and delivering comprehensive CUxS expertise.
- Perform administrative functions typical of a managerial level, such as reviewing and approving timecards, enforcing corporate time‑keeping policy, conducting quarterly employee reviews, and assisting with candidate screening and interviews.
- Provide subject matter expertise during CONUS currency training, supply red air support, produce threat assessments of customer locations, and facilitate live‑fire exercises (LFX) and red air flight patterns for counter‑system validation.
- Coordinate and develop deployment schedules, ensure team members meet all deployment requirements, and support pre‑deployment planning and training as requested by units.
- Experience as a UxS Pilot, UxS Trainer or Analyst within the GOST Branch.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience instructing large groups of low‑ and high‑ranking military personnel.
- BA/BS degree with ≥ 2 years experience; AA/AS degree plus 4 years; no degree plus 6 years experience, to satisfy a minimum base requirement of 6 years.
- Experience with COTS multi‑rotor and fixed‑wing aircraft, including hobbyist UxS.
- Direct support to Military and Special Operations/Special Forces background.
- Experience in System Validation Exercises (VALEX), live‑fire exercises (LFX), threat assessments, and technical exchange events.
- Must obtain a Certified FAA 107 UAS Pilot License and an Amateur Radio Technician License.
- Experience with various UxS (land, air, and sea) and ability to design/fabricate with limited instructions or pre‑built kits.
- Able to research emerging UxS technologies, describe their advantages, and assess impact on DoD capabilities.
- Knowledge of the Military Decision‑Making Process (MDMP).
- Able to translate technical UxS knowledge to trainees, highlighting capabilities, limitations, and DoD impact.
- Proficiency in standard MS Office applications for analytical tasks and product development.
- Define and conduct scenarios in which UxS technology can be utilized.
- Understand and interpret customer requirements to influence correct use of UxS technology at exchanges or test events.
- Perform independently in diverse locations and collaborate with other organizations and military units.
- Successfully pass CONUS Replacement Center (CRC).
- Communicate and function effectively in a team environment.
- Nice to Have: Multiple tours at various operational levels that include a mix of direct combat, operational planning, validation exercises, LFX, training development and Ops‑Intel fusion within GOST Branch.
Pay Range: $75,200 - $158,100 USD
