Security Officer - Truck Gate

Overview

Wage: $16.75/ hour. Prior security experience preferred. Must be comfortable working with computers. This is a full-time position.

Tuesday through Sunday, with shifts available from 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM or 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM.

• The officer will work inside a scale house/gatehouse, processing inbound and outbound truck traffic and managing gate access control for employees and deliveries.
• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, ensuring security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers as needed.

• Security Officer/Guard positions are available full-time and part-time.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Security positions require passing a drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
• No experience necessary; prior experience in retail, food service, or hospitality is a good fit, and training will be provided for a career in security.

• Security Officers/Guards observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing security for client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods; may involve climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain.
• Physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
