Security Officer - Truck Gate

Wage: $16.75/hour

Prior security experience preferred. Must be comfortable working with computers. This is a full-time position.

Schedule:

Tuesday through Sunday, shifts available from 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM or 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM.

The officer will work inside a scale house/gatehouse, processing inbound and outbound truck traffic. Responsibilities include managing gate access control for employees and deliveries.

• Observe and report activities and incidents at the assigned client site, ensuring security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Actively monitor premises, including patrolling a variety of locations, preserving order while enforcing regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and customers at the client site.
• Frequently sit, stand, and walk; may involve climbing stairs, walking on uneven terrain, and performing frequent lifting up to 10 pounds with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

• Prior security experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers/guards.
