Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance

Position Summary:

Walmart is hiring a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to serve on our local and regional team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets utilizing multiple craft skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair Work Orders, support Stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years’ experience in one of these trades.
• 1 year’s experience with intermediate‑level word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Can lift up to 75 lbs.
• Can move up and down ladders frequently.
• Comfortable working at heights frequently.

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Individual compensation packages are based on skill set, experience, level of job offer, qualifications, and other job‑related factors. Additional bonuses are available and will be disclosed during the interview process (not included above). The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 – $44.00, subject to local minimum wage laws.

The hourly wage includes potential premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
