- Fabricate and weld structural steel components, including frameworks, supports, platforms, and equipment bases using MIG, TIG, and/or Stick (SMAW) processes.
- Perform high‑quality pipe welding and fabrication for hydronic systems (not required but a plus; experience with ASME B31.1 or B31.3 specifications preferred).
- Demonstrate basic understanding of reading and interpreting blueprints, isometric drawings, welding symbols, and specifications to ensure accurate layout, fit‑up, and assembly (not required but a plus).
- Cut, bevel, fit, and assemble pipe and structural members using torches, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
- Conduct visual inspections and basic non‑destructive testing to meet AWS, ASME, and project quality standards.
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and a clean, safe work environment in shop settings.
- Strictly follow all shop safety policies and procedures, properly use PPE, and maintain good housekeeping.
- Work collaboratively with pipe fitters, mechanics, foremen, and the production team to meet production deadlines and quality requirements.
