A Technician Assistant at Premier Lifts supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of accessibility equipment such as elevators, platform lifts, and stairlifts. This entry‑level role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands‑on experience in the vertical transportation industry. This position will cover Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, Delaware, and Maryland. The office is in Hunt Valley, MD.

• Assist with equipment installation: support the setup of elevators and lifts by helping with the assembly, alignment, and securing of components.
• Maintenance support: aid in routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshooting assistance: help diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues under the supervision of experienced technicians.
• Worksite preparation: prepare and maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring tools and materials are readily available.
• Documentation: assist in recording maintenance activities, parts used, and any issues encountered during service calls.

• Education:
  
  high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  previous experience in a mechanical or construction role is advantageous but not required.
• Skills:
  
  basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, ability to use hand and power tools, and capability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Physical requirements:
  
  ability to lift up to 100 lbs., work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
• Other requirements: valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, willingness to travel for out‑of‑town assignments, and commitment to safety protocols.
