What You’ll Do

As an A&P Mechanic (IA preferred), you will play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and inspecting aircraft to the highest standards. You will also support the installation and removal of advanced aerial imaging equipment, ensuring all systems are flight-ready and FAA-compliant.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure aircraft and equipment comply with FAA, OSHA, industry, and company standards
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and component replacements across aircraft systems
  • Install and remove aerial cameras and sensors in accordance with FARs and manufacturer procedures
  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance, including scheduling and managing maintenance events
  • Perform 50-hour, 100-hour, and annual inspections (IA certification required where applicable)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace across hangars and work areas
  • Accurately complete maintenance records, logs, and reports
  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required; IA certification or related experience is highly desirable
  • Candidates must have demonstrated, hands‑on aviation maintenance experience
  • In-depth knowledge of current FAA regulations
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
  • Sheet metal skills are a plus
  • Must own tools
  • Proficient in reading wire diagrams and various schematics
  • Experienced working with manufacturer manuals
  • Self‑motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to talk and hear
  • Highly active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day
  • Must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
  • Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
