United Kingdom Equans is looking for a Mobile Electrician to join our HMCTS contract. You will be based from Worcester Combined Court, covering sites across the surrounding area. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and in addition you will receive an excellent benefits package.
What will you deliver?
Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance on electrical distribution, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, AHUs, water systems, medical gases, and pressure systems, ensuring patient safety and operational continuity.
Respond promptly and professionally to unplanned electrical faults or failures, adhering to Service Level Agreements to minimize disruption and avoid contractual penalties.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and work reports to support safe and compliant work practices.
Participate fairly in an on-call rota to provide 24/7 emergency response, ensuring continuous availability of critical services.
Collaborate effectively with Equans colleagues, the Client and external contractors, communicating respectfully and upholding EQUANS’ high standards of health, safety, and professionalism.

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds Technical Certificate in Electrical).18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
Full Clean UK Driving License.
Ability to fault-find, diagnose, and rectify complex electrical faults independently.
Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, enabling the development of switching schedules and safety documentation before shutdowns.
Capability to plan and oversee electrical shutdowns for maintenance and testing.
Previous experience in a high-demanding maintenance engineering role.
Due to the nature of the contract, successful post holder must be able to pass and maintain security vetting (BPSS/CTC)
