Job Summary
The Lead Installation Technician is responsible for the complete and satisfactory installation of residential HVAC equipment and accessories. Oversees the work of Assistant Installation Technician to ensure work is performed correctly, communicates with customers to answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Job Duties- Learns and implements One Hour service system, procedures and ethical practices
- Accurately diagnose problems of clients HVAC systems
- Effectively recommend service and repairs options in order to convert opportunities into sold work
- Properly perform service, maintenance and repairs while maintaining a less than 1% callback ratio.
- Ability to optimize profitability through effective time management and inventory control
- Always maintain a neat work area and inspect that area for cleanliness after completion of each job
- Maintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside
- Waking early because success waits for no sleeper
- Brushing teeth, tucking in shirt, open iPad/iPhone to see first money making opportunity
- Arriving at the shop early to prepare for team success
- Meeting with Installation Manager to show quality work done yesterday and understand scope
- Arriving on time at the customer home in freshly washed truck and blow doors off with 6-star service resulting in incredible review
- Receiving real-time coaching/support whenever needed because you are coachable
- Parts/material delivered to you because we need your head in the game, not on the road
- Collecting payment from the customer because if the company doesn’t get paid, neither do you
- Heading to warehouse with team to prepare for next day’s install
All residential HVAC, all day long. Gas furnaces, heat pumps, oil‑boilers, geo‑thermal, IAQ, install, maintenance, service, and more. Whatever we do, we do it right.
