Job Description Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our apartments in Bayside Village. You will be responsible for ensuring the environment remains safe, functional, and welcoming for our residents.
Responsibilities- HVAC:
Repair, clean, replace components, and troubleshoot issues. - Plumbing:
Repair, replace parts, and install sinks, toilets, faucets, and related fixtures. - Carpentry:
Repair and install doors, shelves, countertops, locks, and related carpentry tasks. - Painting:
Perform drywall and plaster repairs, and execute painting work. - Electrical/Appliance:
Work on lighting, wiring, power circuits, and replace switches, lamps, and related electrical components. - Machinery:
Repair and maintain chillers, belts, pumps, fans, and other mechanical equipment. - Other duties as assigned to maintain overall property functionality.
Minimum qualifications include 1–2 years of experience in commercial or multi‑unit residential maintenance and a high school diploma or GED. Three to four years of experience can offset the minimum educational requirement. Preferred certifications in HVAC (dependent on property), Electrical, or Plumbing are advantageous. A valid driver’s license may be required. The role requires working weekends, including Saturday and Sunday. Must be self‑motivated, a team player, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Computer and smartphone literacy is mandatory, and clear verbal and written English communication is required. Multilingual skills are a plus.
Hourly rate: $24.08 – $33.72, commensurate with experience.
