Overview

Vexcel Imaging US Inc. is a technology company that manufactures market‑leading aerial survey cameras and provides world‑class imagery to cloud services. The company supports commercial and government agencies with its Ultra Cam hardware and software.

As an A&P Mechanic (IA preferred) you will maintain, repair, and inspect aircraft to the highest standards. You will also install and remove advanced aerial imaging equipment, ensuring all systems are flight‑ready and FAA‑compliant.

• Ensure aircraft and equipment comply with FAA, OSHA, industry, and company standards.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and component replacements across aircraft systems.
• Install and remove aerial cameras and sensors in accordance with FARs and manufacturer procedures.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance, including scheduling and managing maintenance events.
• Perform 50‑hour, 100‑hour, and annual inspections (IA certification required where applicable).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace across hangars and work areas.
• Accurately complete maintenance records, logs, and reports.

• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required; IA certification or related experience is highly desirable.
• Hands‑on aviation maintenance experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of current FAA regulations.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Sheet‑metal skills are a plus.
• Own tools.
• Proficiency in reading wire diagrams and various schematics.
• Experience working with manufacturer manuals.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Regularly required to talk and hear.
• Highly active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.
• Must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
• Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
