Carpenter Journeyman (Rough Carpentry)

A Carpenter Journeyman performs basic installation of materials on construction sites.

• Install items related to job site safety and functionality including safety rails, toe boards, ramps, temporary walls, temporary enclosures, elevator protection, decks for construction trailers
• Build planning tables
• Hang safety signs
• Cover holes or open areas that are safety hazards
• Mount Smartboards and TVs in job site trailers
• Hang shelving in job site trailers
• Report all safety incidents & injuries to Foreperson and Safety Leader
• Any scope of work outside the above listed shall be planned, documented, and approved by Foreperson, Safety & Management

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of carpentry experience required
• Data center experience preferred
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
• OSHA 10 hour certified recommended (Next 150 Construction will assist with obtaining this certification if necessary)
• Proof of certificates, degrees, etc. upon hire

• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
• Willingness to work in high‑stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
• Ability to work in a team environment

Salary
: $26.00-$32.00 per hour plus benefits and retirement program.
