As a commercial electrician you are responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial settings, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with electrical codes. Commercial electrician responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial buildings
• Pull and run wire, install conduit (EMT, rigid), and bend conduit (including 90-degree bends)
• Support wiring tasks, including terminating devices and connecting electrical components
• Install and troubleshoot panels, switch gear, lighting systems, and other electrical equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical drawings, and technical manuals
• Inspect and test circuits and equipment
• Identify electrical hazards and troubleshoot issues
• Work with voltages up to 480V
• Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, local regulations, and job site standards

Commercial electrician qualifications:

• 2+ years commercial electrical experience
• Valid driver's license
• Your own reliable transportation
• Your own tools and PPE
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 is a plus
• Journeyman license is a plus
