NETA Electrical Test Technician – Levels II, III or IV
Location: Maryland
Employment: Full-time, permanent
Travel: Local and regional
Work on critical electrical infrastructure for some of the country’s leading data center operators, utilities, manufacturers and mission‑critical facilities.
We are supporting established NETA‑accredited electrical testing companies looking for experienced technicians across Maryland. You will work on technically challenging projects involving modern power‑distribution equipment, while gaining exposure to major customers and large‑scale facilities.
What you will be doing- Performing acceptance and maintenance testing on critical power systems
- Testing switch gear, circuit breakers, transformers, cables and protective relays
- Working with low-, medium- and high‑voltage electrical equipment
- Troubleshooting faults and evaluating equipment performance
- Reading single‑line diagrams, schematics and technical drawings
- Analyzing test results and preparing technical reports
- Working directly with customers on data centers, substations, utilities, manufacturing plants and other critical facilities
- Following NETA and NFPA 70E testing and safety requirements
- NETA Level II, III or IV certification, or strong electrical testing experience
- Experience with switch gear, breakers, transformers or protective relays
- Ability to operate electrical test equipment and interpret results
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally
Experience with PowerDB, Doble, OMICRON, Megger or similar testing equipment is highly valued.
