HPC - Senior Software Engineer - Linux, Python, Docker

The Software Engineer shall be responsible for collaborating with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Project Software Engineers to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and sustain a mission-focused enterprise web application deployed in a containerized Kubernetes Linux environment.

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity; or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity;

or seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Tool Suite
• Experience developing Bash/Python scripts
• Experience developing with Python in a Linux environment
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
• Experience with SQL technologies such as MySQL
• Experience with designing and implementing REST interfaces
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Git Lab CI
• Experience with Git Source Control System

• Experience with the Django Web framework
• Experience with the Celery Task Scheduler
• Experience with NGINX
• Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience with AI Development Tools such as Claude Code

Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $213,000 - $233,000.
