MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAs a Software Integration Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. You will play a crucial role in providing expertise in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEEDBring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Software Integration Engineer must have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software
- HPC architecture knowledge of HPC ecosystem including compute, network, memory, and storage components
- Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly
- US citizenship required
- DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required
Must be proficient with the following:
- Linux Shell scripting
- Object Oriented Programming Language (C, C++, Java)
- Python Programming
- GCC compiler
- Multi‑threaded software
- Parallel processing
- CORBA, J2EE
- Perl or Java Script
- Working knowledge of Configuration Management tools
- Structured troubleshooting skills
- System installation and working with HPC GOTS scheduler and resource management software
