As a cyber security professional at Lockheed Martin, you’ll protect the networks that our citizens and the world depend upon each minute: financial assets, healthcare information, critical infrastructure, hazardous materials, the uninterrupted flow of energy that keeps modern life moving.
Here, you’ll work with cybersecurity experts on the forefront of threat protection and proactive prevention. In this fast‑paced, real‑world environment, you’ll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep the threats at bay.
Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices‑based architecture and cutting‑edge technologies. The System Automation Software Engineer will be responsible for:
- Utilizing a test framework to execute manual and automated tests.
- Authoring tests utilizing Cucumber and Playwright.
- Knowledgeable in microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, test frameworks and automation, Agile methodology.
- Executing load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end‑to‑end testing.
- Agile development and delivery of software.
- Communicating and collaborating effectively with other team members and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
- An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI poly within 7 years).
- Playwright, Cucumber, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tool), Selenium tools:
Cypress; 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA). - Software:
Java, JavaScript, Python, Ansible. - Other:
Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Git Lab, Jira.
TS/SCI with Polygraph (SP).

Schedule:
9x80 every other Friday off.
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $150,800 – $265,880. Salary varies by location and qualifications.
