Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Security Clearance

Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Engineer – Full Time – On Site, Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

• Design, develop, test, and productize AI/ML algorithms to solve business challenges.
• Build AI/ML models that learn and make predictions based on business logic.
• Develop model architecture, integrate data pipelines, and evaluate metrics.
• Apply knowledge of application development, infrastructure, data engineering, and governance.
• Deploy, retrain, schedule, monitor, and iteratively improve models.
• Lead geographically diverse teams and serve as primary point of contact for AI-related matters.
• Select appropriate data sets and perform statistical analysis.
• Run machine learning algorithms and use results to improve models.
• Train and retrain systems as needed.
• Utilize ML libraries and packages, run standard testing and evaluation protocols.
• Provide system integration oversight and guide test and validation processes.
• Research and implement a broad range of AI/ML algorithms and tools.
• Design or select appropriate data and knowledge representation methods.
• Recognize software architecture, data modelling, and data structures.
• Transform data science prototypes into scalable solutions.
• Verify data and model output quality.
• Identify differences in data distribution that affect model performance.

• United States citizenship and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance with agency‑appropriate polygraph.
• At least five (5) years of applied machine‑learning experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in advanced mathematics, artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, or deep learning from an accredited institution.
• Alternatively, five (5) additional years of machine‑learning experience with a relevant Bachelor’s degree may substitute for a Master’s degree.
• Experience with standard machine‑learning frameworks, e.g., PyTorch, Tensor Flow.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, C, and R.
