Job Overview
The Bus Driver I will transport passengers to and from identified locations within a 100-mile radius. The Bus Driver I is expected to obey all traffic laws, safety standards and motor vehicle regulations. Inspect and ensure vehicle is in good operating order before, during and after assignments. The Driver is expected to provide professional service and guidance to passengers in routine and emergency situations.

Responsibilities- Operate customer and company owned motor vehicles and/or other equipment on a daily basis.
- Adhere to the established company safety and personnel policies and operating procedures.
- Drive automobiles, passenger vans, shuttle buses and up to 55 passenger buses to transport personnel within a 100-mile radius.
- Transport vehicles for service such as washing, fuel, repair.
- Keep records of all personnel pick up and drop off times.
- Complete trip tickets and preventative maintenance service records upon completion of each trip.
- Perform driver maintenance, inspecting interior/exterior of vehicles for cleanliness prior to dispatch; cleaning interior/exterior of vehicles in accordance with established rules and regulations.
- Adhere to specific uniform attire.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent GED.
- Possess a valid Class B CDL with a P (Passenger Transport) and air brake endorsements.
- At least three (3) years of experience transporting passengers in a commercial capacity.
- Ability to drive automobiles, passenger vans, shuttle buses and up to 55 passenger buses.
- Ability to work flexible schedules that rotate start times between 5 am and 1 pm with nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
- Mature judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to pass a pre‑hire background and drug screen.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain prior to commencing work and maintain the required intelligence community level clearance.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and team lift 75 pounds.
- Possess an active intelligence community level clearance.
- Experience transporting passengers in government or a mature environment.
