As a Penske Maintenance Supervisor you will use your excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills to engage diesel technicians, maintain team morale, and keep customers happy. You will coordinate, schedule, and audit vehicle maintenance repairs including preventative, mechanical, and electrical work on tractors, trucks, and trailers. Additionally, you will hire, train, and develop technicians to ensure a highly skilled workforce meets customer expectations.

TrainingAll new supervisors are enrolled in a training program covering vehicle componentry, maintenance technology, service department management, effective leadership, and customer engagement.
Major Responsibilities- Prioritize and assign work to meet customer needs.
- Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske assets.
- Control repair, inventory, and labor costs.
- Meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
- Coach and mentor technicians and CSRs.
- Monitor associate work levels.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as required.
- 3–5 years fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or at least 3 years of team management with strong operational metrics.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or tech school degree preferred.
- Strong customer service and organizational skills required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and web‑based applications preferred.
- Ability to work in a positive, fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
- Regular, predictable full attendance essential.
- Willingness to travel within the district and as necessary.
- Must comply with DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies.
- Move, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods.
- Use hands to grasp, reach, touch, handle, and operate tools and controls.
- Work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms.
- Work safely in all weather conditions.
- See and hear to navigate safely with large trucks.
- Lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly, up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally.
