First Division Consulting (First Div) is seeking a Logistics Analyst III to support PM Soldier Medical Devices (PM SMD), Force Integration Division (FID) as a Transportation Coordinator. This role supports worldwide medical equipping missions by monitoring shipments, improving transportation processes, and maintaining visibility of medical equipment set movement using authorized Army systems.
Responsibilities- Serve as the Transportation Coordinator supporting FID medical equipping missions worldwide, including transportation concepts, policies, and plans.
- Gain access to and use authorized Army automation systems and apply DoD shipping and receiving documentation to support asset visibility.
- Monitor and track transportation and receipt of medical equipment sets and Goods Issued Equipment, and produce a daily Transportation Report.
- Provide transportation guidance to Regional Managers and Direct Reporting Units in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Assist with development of transportation policies; support technical decisions; review procedures for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Resolve transportation conflicts and discrepancies; validate shipments including placard markings.
- Support planning and execution of Second Destination Transportation (SDT) and complete required daily reporting.
- Analyze trends (delays, frustrated cargo, lost items) and complete transportation discrepancy reporting.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Five years of relevant logistics experience consistent with a Logistics Analyst III role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to work in data-driven reporting environments.
- Ability to obtain access to and use authorized Army automation systems as required by the mission.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must successfully complete LOG 0140 Packaging of Hazardous Material certification, provide proof of completion, and recertify as required.
- Must meet contract security and installation access requirements, including a Tier 3 investigation with Secret eligibility, and complete required Government training (Cyber Awareness, HIPAA/Privacy, AT, OPSEC, and others as applicable).
