Delivery Driver

Role Overview

Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy responsible for delivering prescription orders and products to customers on a predetermined route using a company‑provided vehicle. Drivers maintain patient confidentiality, comply with regulatory standards and support pharmacy operations to fill prescriptions safely and accurately.

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and supplies to long‑term care facilities or patient homes.
• Load products and materials onto the delivery vehicle.
• Maintain the vehicle and promptly report maintenance issues to management.
• Ensure full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
• Adhere to the highest professional and ethical standards.
• Utilize a customer‑service mindset to manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks, enabling efficient prescription fulfillment.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Geographical knowledge of the service area.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Current, valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle.
• Ability to drive for extended periods.
• Prior experience in the long‑term care industry preferred.
• No professional driving experience required, but experience as a limo, taxi, bus driver, courier, or gig‑economy worker is encouraged.
