Job Description

General Job Duties involve operation of all equipment; stock and rotate ingredients from delivery to storage/work area/walk-in cooler; prepare products; receive and process telephone and internet orders; count inventory and complete paperwork; clean equipment and facility.

Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, climb ladders or stairs, stoop/bend, crouch/squat, reach, grasp with hands to use machines, tools, equipment, and work aids, and tolerate exposure to varying temperatures/conditions inside and outside.

Customer service orientation, interactive computer program, and hands‑on practice.

Ability to comprehend and communicate verbally and written with customers/co‑workers over the phone and in person.

Ability to safely drive own vehicle, navigate roads/maps, and travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations, including uneven terrain and stairs while carrying products.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide accurately to make correct monetary change (may use calculator).

• Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile with linoleum. Work surfaces height 36″–48″.
• Walking: Short distances for short durations; travel between store and delivery vehicle and to customers.
• Sitting: Paperwork normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Bulk product deliveries unloaded by hand truck; up to 50 pounds (3′ × 1.5″). Cases stacked up to 72″ high.
• Carrying: Large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), trays of dough (≈12 lb each), and other items carried over short distances.
• Pushing: Trays on dollies (24″ – 30″) requiring up to 7.5 lb of force; trays may also be pulled.
• Climbing: Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladder to change prices, wash walls, perform maintenance. Delivery may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at pizza assembly station; approximately 30 – 45 seconds at a time, repeated throughout the day. Similar bending at the front counter and when stocking ingredients.
• Crouching/Squatting: Occasional stocking of shelves and cleaning low areas.
• Reaching: Continuous; up, down, and forward. Overhead reaching to 72″ to operate ovens or change prices on signs. Lower reach for scooping, washing dishes, and cleaning work surfaces. Forward reach when obtaining topping ingredients or answering phones.
• Driving: Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.
• Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids: Use of pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.

• Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards; access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
