Warehouse Quality Control

Overview

TSN, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a Quality Control associate for our warehouse. The Quality Control - Warehouse position will be responsible for pulling products from the shelves and will provide a quality check on all items before packing, labeling, and shipping items to the appropriate customers.

• Quality check of all items picked for shipping
• Select customer orders from shelves, wrap/band and flag orders
• Label all finished boxes and pallets; load trailer
• Follow appropriate guidelines for shipping while ensuring that all products shipped meet neatness and accuracy guidelines
• Utilize an on-board computer and wireless radio frequency system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist other warehouse workers in completing tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor

• Strong knowledge of warehousing with an emphasis on leading and inventory
• Experience in quality control and order selecting
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (occasionally between 60-75 lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift
• Must be able to squat, push, pull and lift (up to 50 lbs) and withstand variation in temperatures within the warehouse
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Must be dependable and a team player
• Bilingual a plus
• Overtime is required based on business demands; sometimes on short notice
