PositionSummary
We are seeking a reliable, customer‑focused team member to support a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment. The role combines warehouse work with customer service, assisting customers in person, processing orders, managing inventory, and ensuring materials are accurately picked, packed, and stocked. Strong time management and self‑motivation are essential.
Position Responsibilities- Provide insightful, accurate information to customers regarding questions or problems.
- Efficiently collect requested material from the shelves, ensuring it aligns with the customer’s application and order.
- Receive incoming materials, check packing slips against actual merchandise, inspect for defects, and notify supervisor as necessary.
- Stock shelves and ensure materials are in their designated area.
- Pull materials from warehouse shelves to fill current orders, identifying correct quantity and customer specifications.
- Use RF guns for picking and packing.
- Packs and ships materials in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Check email and trackers daily for time‑sensitive company information.
- Post purchase orders via RF and other related data into the computer system.
- Complete two full cycle counts per year to maintain an accurate inventory of items and locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized area.
- Work closely with all internal departments, combining individual efforts to better serve the customer.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Operate powered industrial trucks.
- Be able to lift 50 lb several times a day, bend, and twist.
- Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Act in a safe and positive manner, ensuring that those around you do not put themselves or others at risk; personal safety is your responsibility.
- Complete an accident/incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or are witnessed.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 6 am–3 pm.
- Minimum high school diploma.
