Warehouse Material Handler Forklift Operator

Position Description

Material Handler in Port Deposit, Maryland.

• Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $32.25 per hour
• Third Shift Add-On: $1.00 per hour (when working third shift)
• Schedule:
  
  Third Shift Sunday–Tuesday 6:00 pm–6:00 am, every other Wednesday 6:00 pm–6:00 am

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
• Valid Forklift Operator's License, certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Team player within a diverse work environment
• Professional relationships across all levels (peers, supervisors, customers)
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Good attendance record; punctual
• Works independently with minimal supervision

• Able to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Operate within performance measurement guidelines of contract
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, and manage products; stage, load, and unload trucks
• Maintain day‑to‑day warehouse paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
