Thursday - Saturday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Starting rate of $23.00/hr

• Pick, pack, and ship a variety of building materials, including mouldings and doors.
• Read and understand pick lists and paperwork.
• Lift, push, and pull material bundles that weigh between 49‑69 lbs.
• Ensure accurate tallies and order quantities.
• Operate various types of machinery as required, including an electric tugger and trailer.
• Clean and tidy the work area as required.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and timely.
• Product binning and put‑away as needed.

• Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Solid work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Enjoy working in a team environment.

• Safety – Continuous training for all warehouse personnel for safety and operational excellence. Critical safety metrics are measured monthly, problems identified, and actions taken.
• Surroundings – Working around moving machines such as order pickers, forklifts, and mobile carts.
• Activity – May require operating machinery, constant walking, repetitive lifting, and use of a handheld scanner.
• Temperature – Warehouse in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
• Noise level – Can get noisy at times; hearing protection is provided if needed.
• Dress code – Relaxed, with a few requirements regarding PPE. Metrie provides safety shoes, high‑visibility shirts or vests, eye protection and gloves.
