Position: Warehouse Associate - B Day Shift (Thursday - Saturday Shift)

Thursday - Saturday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Hourly Rate

Starting rate of $23.00/hr

What You’ll Do
  • Pick, pack, and ship a variety of building materials, including mouldings and doors.
  • Read and understand pick lists and paperwork.
  • Lift, push, and pull material bundles that weigh between 49‑69 lbs.
  • Ensure accurate tallies and order quantities.
  • Operate various types of machinery as required, including an electric tugger and trailer.
  • Clean and tidy the work area as required.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and timely.
  • Product binning and put‑away as needed.
Who You Are
  • Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Solid work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Enjoy working in a team environment.

What It’s Like at Metrie
  • Safety – Continuous training for all warehouse personnel for safety and operational excellence. Critical safety metrics are measured monthly, problems identified, and actions taken.
  • Surroundings – Working around moving machines such as order pickers, forklifts, and mobile carts.
