Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime as necessary)

Compensation: $19.50/HR

As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you’ll discover meaningful work that makes a positive impact on a global scale. You will receive, pick, pack, and ship materials to ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers.

• Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and process items for storage and/or shipment according to established procedures and customer requirements.
• Maintain a high level of quality to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Verify materials received for accuracy, including type, quantity, and documentation (e.g., packing lists).
• Safely operate distribution equipment as required.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: No previous work experience required. Preferred experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain, or related field. Preferred experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers/forklifts).
• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Strong attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Problem‑solving skills and ability to work efficiently. Ability to read and write in English.

• Warehouse environment with varying temperatures: room temperature (59–86°F), cold‑room (36–46°F), and freezer‑room (-4 to 23°F).
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 40 lbs continuously.
• Regularly climb ladders.
• May occasionally sit, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• May handle packaged hazardous materials.

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $13.82–$19.75.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
