Position Overview

Ryder is hiring an Inventory Clerk/Problem Solver in Port Deposit, Maryland. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

• Hourly Pay $21.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay $32.25 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when working third shift
• Schedule:
  
  Third Shift Thursday‑Saturday 6:00 pm – 6:00 am, every other Wednesday 6:00 pm – 6:00 am

• Equipment:
  Cherry Pickers, Order Pickers, Pallet Jacks, Forklifts, etc.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred
• One year or more forklift operation experience preferred
• One year or more Microsoft Office proficiency preferred
• May require equipment certification based on location
• Ability to read location, date, and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build professional relationships at all organizational levels
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility, self‑driven, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• Capability to multitask, highly organized, and possess excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with thorough follow‑up practices

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments
• Participate in physical inventories as needed
• Provide floor support to Operations Supervisors and associates on inventory issues
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with a focus on safety
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
• Perform other duties as assigned
