Position Overview
Ryder is hiring an Inventory Clerk/Problem Solver in Port Deposit, Maryland. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth.
Pay Details- Hourly Pay $21.50 per hour
- Overtime Pay $32.25 per hour
- Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when working third shift
- Schedule:
Third Shift Thursday‑Saturday 6:00 pm – 6:00 am, every other Wednesday 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
- Products Handled:
Retail Items - Equipment:
Cherry Pickers, Order Pickers, Pallet Jacks, Forklifts, etc.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year or more warehouse experience preferred
- One year or more forklift operation experience preferred
- One year or more Microsoft Office proficiency preferred
- May require equipment certification based on location
- Ability to read location, date, and product codes

- Detail oriented with thorough follow‑up practices
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits
- Audit inbound and outbound shipments
- Participate in physical inventories as needed
- Provide floor support to Operations Supervisors and associates on inventory issues
- Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with a focus on safety
- Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
- Perform other duties as assigned
