We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to support inventory accuracy, material traceability, and warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for monitoring inventory transactions, maintaining accurate inventory records in SAP, and partnering with production, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure material availability and data integrity.
The ideal candidate will possess experience with SAP MM/WM
, inventory control processes, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Monitor and validate inventory transactions within SAP.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, material masters, and storage location data.
- Perform inventory analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, and process improvement opportunities.
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances through root-cause analysis.
- Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits.
- Reconcile inventory data between SAP and physical stock locations.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports including stock status, aging, excess inventory, and accuracy metrics.
- Coordinate inventory transfers, receipts, issues, and warehouse transactions.
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure inventory accuracy and material availability.
- Support compliance with internal controls, inventory policies, and audit requirements.
- Improve inventory processes, reporting, and accuracy initiatives.
- Assist with production order support and material back flushing activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control, inventory analysis, warehouse operations, or materials management.
- Experience utilizing SAP MM, SAP WM, or similar ERP/WMS platforms
. - Strong understanding of inventory transactions, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both office and warehouse environments.
- Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, or industrial environment.
- SAP Warehouse Management (WM) experience.
- Knowledge of serialized inventory, lot control, or traceability processes.
- Experience supporting inventory audits and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with barcode scanning systems and warehouse technologies.
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) preferred.
