POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supervisor, Inventory at Sri Sai Biopharmaceutical Solutions, LLC (SBS) is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of inventory activities to ensure accurate receipt, storage, movement, staging, and documentation of materials and finished goods.
This position ensures that inventory operations are performed in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and company policies.
The Supervisor provides daily direction to Inventory Associates, monitors workflow and priorities, supports inventory accuracy and reconciliation activities, and ensures proper material identification, segregation, labeling, and traceability. The position works closely with Inventory Management, Shipping & Receiving, Production, Quality Assurance, and other departments to support timely and compliant operations.

Essential Functions:
Inventory Operations and Material Control
- Supervise daily inventory activities including receiving, storage, material movement, staging, picking, replenishment, and issuance of materials.
- Ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner within the applicable ERP or Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Verify that materials are properly identified, labeled, stored, and segregated according to their status, including quarantine, released, rejected, or other designated classifications.
- Monitor inventory levels and material availability to support production and operational requirements.
- Coordinate material staging and kitting activities according to production schedules and departmental priorities.
- Ensure appropriate handling, storage, and movement of temperature-sensitive or controlled materials when applicable.
- Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and elevate significant issues to Inventory Management.
- Assist with documenting inventory adjustments and corrective actions in accordance with established procedures.
Leadership and Team Supervision
- Provide daily work assignments, priorities, and operational direction to Inventory Associates.
- Monitor employee performance, productivity, attendance, and adherence to departmental procedures.
- Provide hands-on coaching and training related to inventory procedures, documentation requirements, material handling, safety, and applicable SOPs.
- Ensure employees are trained and qualified before independently performing assigned inventory tasks.
- Promote accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to SBS's RICE values.
- Identify performance or training concerns and communicate them promptly to Inventory Management.
- Support onboarding and training of new Inventory Associates.
- Conduct routine team communication to ensure employees understand daily workload, priorities, operational changes, and compliance expectations.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure inventory activities are performed in accordance with cGMP, GDP, SBS procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Review inventory documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with Good Documentation Practices.
- Ensure material movements are traceable and appropriately documented.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support documentation needed for audits, investigations, and inventory reconciliation.
- Immediately report documentation errors, material discrepancies, damaged materials, labeling issues, or potential compliance concerns to management and Quality Assurance as appropriate.
- Assist Quality Assurance and Inventory Management with internal and external audits, investigations, CAPAs, and material disposition activities.
- Ensure employees follow established SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures, and applicable EHS requirements.
Workflow and Operational Coordination
- Monitor daily workload and allocate personnel according to operational priorities.
- Coordinate with Shipping & Receiving, Production, Quality Assurance, and other departments regarding material availability and movement.
- Communicate inventory shortages, discrepancies, delays, or other operational risks to Inventory Management.
- Ensure priority materials and operational requests are addressed according to established timelines.
- Support efficient warehouse organization and material flow.
- Escalate operational issues that may impact production, customer commitments, compliance, or safety.
Inventory Accuracy and Reconciliation
