Fredericksburg, Texas Emergency Medicine NP/PA Locum Tenens

Daytime APP Coverage | Level IV Trauma | 22-Bed ED

Rhino Medical is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine NP/PA for locum tenens coverage in Fredericksburg, Texas. This opportunity offers daytime APP coverage within a high-acuity Emergency Department supported by around-the-clock physician coverage.

Schedule

• Coverage beginning December 22
• Current open shift: 12:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
• APP coverage is daytime only
• APP shifts generally range from 6–8 hours
• Occasional weekday coverage supporting the permanent APP team

Emergency Department

• Approximately 15,000 annual ED visits
• 22 ED beds
• Level IV Trauma Center
• High-acuity Emergency Medicine environment
• Approximately 10% pediatric volume
• MEDITECH EMR
• 40-bed hospital

Clinical Coverage

• 24-hour physician coverage
• Physician coverage provided in 12-hour day and night shifts
• Approximately 2–3 physicians during daytime coverage
• Approximately 1–2 physicians during nighttime coverage

Requirements

• NP or PA
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active/current ACLS, ATLS, PALS
