Mercedes-Benz of Fredericksburg is looking for an experience Automotive Technician to join their team.

- Va. Inspector License is a Plus
- ASE's are a plus
- Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
- Diagnosing performance or mechanical issues for automotive vehicles brought to the shop
- Performs advanced, basic and minor repairs as required
- Communicating with service advisor if additional work is needed on a vehicle or if repairs will not be completed in given time frame so the customer can be informed
- Inspecting and test-driving new vehicles to ensure that all features function properly
- Installing optional equipment on new vehicles as specified by the customer or dealer
- Conferring with the customers or service advisors to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements
- Examining vehicles to determine wear and extent of damage or malfunctions
- Testing and adjusting repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications
- Ensuring that the shop is in excellent condition in regard to cleanliness, safety, and equipment condition, and conducting periodic spot checks to maintain high-quality service
- Test-driving vehicles, and testing components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges and computerized diagnostic devices
- Performs other duties as assigned
