JDA Safety Consulting Services is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Site Safety Specialist to support safety operations across client job sites. This role is ideal for a safety professional with 1–3 years of field safety experience and strong administrative and organizational skills.
The Site Safety Specialist will assist with safety compliance, documentation, training coordination, and hazard prevention to help maintain safe and compliant work environments.
Key Responsibilities Safety Compliance & Field Support- Assist in implementing and enforcing site safety programs and procedures
- Conduct routine safety inspections and hazard assessments
- Monitor compliance with OSHA standards and client safety requirements
- Support incident investigations and track corrective actions
- Promote safe work practices and hazard prevention
- Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Track training records, certifications, and compliance deadlines
- Enter and manage safety data and reporting metrics
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance tracking
- Coordinate safety meetings, documentation, and onboarding requirements
- Assist with safety orientations for employees and subcontractors
- Support safety meetings, toolbox talks, and awareness initiatives
- Communicate safety updates, procedures, and compliance expectations
- 1–3 years of safety experience in construction, telecom, utilities, field service, or industrial environments
- Strong administrative, documentation, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work in both field and office environments
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Safety Management, Environmental Health, or related field
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification (Construction or General Industry)
- OSHA 500 – Trainer Course in OSHA Standards for Construction (strong plus)
- Additional OSHA training (OSHA 510, OSHA 511, or similar)
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Experience with safety management or compliance tracking systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
