Project Manager – Structured Cabling, Electronic Access Control & Data Center Projects

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial structured cabling, electronic access control, low-voltage, and data center projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, field personnel, subcontractors, materials, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has experience managing multiple commercial technology infrastructure projects, strong leadership skills, and a solid understanding of structured cabling, electronic access control, and low-voltage systems. Occasional travel is required to support customer and project sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing multiple commercial structured cabling, electronic access control, low-voltage, and data center projects from planning through project closeout.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, labor forecasts, procurement plans, and project documentation.
• Coordinating field technicians, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and customers to ensure successful project execution.
• Reviewing blueprints, construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Conducting regular jobsite visits to monitor project progress, installation quality, safety, and compliance.
• Leading project meetings and communicating project status, milestones, and risks with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identifying project risks, resolving issues proactively, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Tracking project costs, labor utilization, change orders, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Ensuring projects comply with company standards, customer requirements, applicable building codes, and safety regulations.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, contractors, vendors, and business partners.
• Supporting successful project turnover, closeout documentation, and customer satisfaction.
