The Pioneer Museum and Vereins Kirche Museum are open to visitors Monday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm. Docents serve as hospitality agents for the Gillespie County Historical Society at out two museum locations.
PrimaryRoles and Responsibilities
- POS management including open ing and closing of register
- Guest transactions for museum admissions, programs, special events and retail sales.
- Greeting visitors and sharing the museum story based on staff training and material for standard guest experience .
- Assist Retail Service Manager with display management and gift shop tidiness.
- In addition to the specific roles and responsibilities listed, all paid staff of GCHS are expected to work as a team with other staff members and provide services as requested outside of the scope of your job title to support the organization.
