Job Summary / Basic Functions- Draft and edit templates and content for emails, newsletters, websites, and social media related to programs and events
- Assist with promotion, planning, and on site/virtual support for events such as workshops, information sessions, regional events, and employer and student programs
- Assist with event preparation, including setup, breakdown, material organization, and follow-up communication
- Update web pages and digital resources under staff guidance to ensure timely, accurate information
- Maintain contact lists, communication trackers, and basic event and program data
- Provide support for data-related tasks, including organizing spreadsheets and gaining exposure to basic data analysis
- Provide general administrative and project support including special projects as assigned by staff
- Maintain confidentiality and follow campus and office policies
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
- Interest in workforce and/or economic development, human resources, communications, or higher education
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft 365 and AI with a willingness to learn new software and tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, responsible, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Additional Considerations Preferred Skills (Not Required)- Familiarity with web design tools or platforms (e.g., basic HTML, Word Press, Canva)
- Experience or interest in content creation (writing, graphics, or multimedia)
- Basic knowledge of spreadsheets or data visualization tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service experience or interest
