Greet customers and assess their service needs.
Schedule service appointments and confirm vehicle drop-off times.
Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle symptoms.
Prepare detailed repair orders and work with technicians to determine required services.
Provide cost estimates, explain repair processes, and gain customer approvals.
Communicate regularly with customers about the status of their vehicle.
Ensure all completed work meets quality standards and customer expectations.
Coordinate with parts departments to ensure timely availability of necessary components.
Process service payments and handle warranty claims as needed.
Maintain accurate service records and follow-up with customers post-service.
Address customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or technical training a plus)
Prior experience in automotive service, customer service, or a related role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and terminology
Proficiency in service software systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Xtime)
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
