Summary

LLE Education Group seeks a dedicated Childcare Cook to plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and snacks to children, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines and health standards.

• Menu Planning: develop weekly menus that are nutritious, balanced, and appealing to children, submit for approval and ensure dietary requirements.
• Meal Preparation: prepare and cook meals and snacks safely, following sanitation protocols.
• Food Safety: maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhere to health and safety regulations, and ensure proper storage and handling of food.
• Inventory Management: track food supplies, place orders, and manage the kitchen budget.
• Record Keeping: record purchases, meal counts, and dietary restrictions.
• Serving: ensure portion control, meet dietary needs, and interact positively with children.
• Compliance: ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook experience, preferably in childcare or an educational setting.
• A genuine love for children and desire to make a positive impact every day.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for children.
• Ability to plan and prepare meals for large groups.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in food safety and handling (preferred).
• Ability to pass a successful background check.

• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a kitchen environment.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday. Working in a kitchen environment with standard conditions.
