Our Program Managers are responsible to lead a combination of preschool and school-age program that is child-centered and family friendly. What You Bring…

• AA/AS in Early Childhood Education required, BS/BA preferred
• Minimum of 45 credits in Early Childhood Education
• Minimum of three years' experience working in a preschool and/or school age environment
• At least two years of experience as a classroom teacher or childcare provider
• Ability to travel locally with some evening and weekend hours
• Excellent verbal, written and listening skills and the ability to communicate to a wide-ranging audience
• Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work as part of a team
• Successful completion of the Virginia Pre-Service Training for Child Care Staff
• Successful background check and VA licensing standards required

Compensation… The hourly rate for this position is between $18.00- $20.00 per hour.

• Becomes a resource and role model to staff regarding curriculum, behavior, classroom management techniques, etc.
• Communicates professionally with staff, families and children.
• Conducts daily program observations and assessments.
• Assists with classroom coverage as needed.
• Abilities to collaborate and communicate effectively with Center leadership.
• Attends training, workshops, and/or college courses as identified in their individual training plan.
