Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Controls Engineer to support reliable, efficient operation of AWS data centers. You will program, test, and troubleshoot PLC, BAS, and SCADA systems controlling critical power and cooling, perform root-cause analysis of incidents, and optimize system performance. Partner with operations, design, and vendors to implement upgrades, improve monitoring, and maintain high availability. Responsibilities
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC, BAS, and SCADA systems for data center power and cooling
- Monitor controls system performance and perform root-cause analysis of alarms and incidents
- Support commissioning, testing, and validation of new or upgraded control systems
- Collaborate with operations, design, and vendor teams to improve system reliability and efficiency
- Create and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and standard operating procedures
- Implement changes using rigorous change management and safety practices
