Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high‑quality patient care in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This position works collaboratively with a dynamic team to evaluate orders, complete procedures, dictate procedures performed, consult patients, and write orders. Our team includes Interventional Radiologists, nurse managers, nurse supervisors, technologist supervisors, RNs, CNAs, and IR technologists – a patient‑focused, supportive group of multi‑skilled professionals.

• Perform pre‑procedure assessments and H&Ps
• Complete necessary patient care documents
• Evaluate referring MD orders
• Order procedural sedation and necessary pre‑procedure labs and imaging
• Write post‑procedure orders and discharge summary

Patients per day:
Average 25 (Mon‑Fri), Sat averages about 10. Inclusive of both APP patients and Radiologist patients.

• Valid Adult Nurse Practitioner License from Virginia
• Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) from an accredited school required
• Valid Physician Assistant License from Virginia
• Physician Assistant Degree from an accredited school required
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire
• Minimum of 1‑year Interventional Radiology, ICU or Critical Care APP experience required
