We are currently hiring a LEAD SENIOR SYSTEMS ANALYST to provide systems engineering, analysis, and enterprise architecture support for a Government customer.

Position Location:

This position is located on-site in Fredericksburg, VA.

MUST BE A US CITIZEN WITH ACTIVE DoD CLEARANCE (WITH ABILITY TO OBTAIN TS/SCI) AND PASS BACKGROUND CHECK

The Senior Systems Analyst will provide expert-level systems engineering, analysis, and enterprise architecture support. This role involves translating business and technical requirements into actionable system designs, supporting the development and sustainment of IT capabilities, and ensuring alignment with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) standards. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to support digital transformation initiatives, enterprise architecture modeling using IBM System Architect, and the implementation of secure, scalable IT solutions across classified and unclassified environments.

• Analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements for IT systems and services
• Support systems engineering and design activities across the full system lifecycle
• Develop and maintain DoDAF-compliant architecture artifacts using IBM System Architect
• Conduct application and system testing, including validation and verification of system changes
• Provide database management support, including design, administration, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with DoD security standards and STIGs
• Participate in technical reviews, working groups, and change control boards
• Support the development of project plans, risk assessments, and technical documentation

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in relation to implementation of business and technical requirements; analyzing; planning and development, application testing; and database management support
• Proficiency with DoDAF and enterprise architecture tools (e.g., IBM System Architect)
• Strong understanding of ITIL, Agile, and Dev Sec Ops  methodologies
• Experience supporting DoD IT environments and classified systems
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)

• Certified Enterprise Architect
• DoD 8570.01-M compliant certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, or equivalent)
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred
